LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A group of 15 Louisville Metro police officers have
filed a class action lawsuit against the city and the Metro Housing
Authority.
The plaintiffs claim they were exposed to toxic levels of mold at a
government building on Barret Avenue that is owned and run by the Metro
Housing Authority and Public Works Department.
The lawsuit claimed those departments did not maintain the building, and
made the people who worked there sick.
The plaintiffs are asking for the building to be properly cleaned before
they return to work.
